From the Eskimos

Hey everyone! I have finally figured out this blogging thing and it is wonderful! Quite addicting, too. Anyway, just to update ya'll on our life, we have moved to Anchorage, Alaska and plan to be here for a few years. Everything has fallen into place all too well and we are excited to be here! The other day we were driving around Anchorage looking for an apartment and I saw "Scorup" on a mailbox. As if I didn't make a connection there! So I wrote down their address and meant to tell my mom about them, but she beat me to it! I guess there are some Scorups up here in Palmer and in Anchorage! Small world, eh? We'll have to go over and meet them. So far, I'm liking Anchorage. I can't say I love the layout of the town, but I will get used to it. We will be working this summer for Royal Celebrity Tours (doing land tours for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruises) and plan to go to school in the fall. That's about it for now!

Just stumbled across this blog via good ol' Google. I'm Roy Scorup, one of the Scorups who was raised in Alaska. You ran across Kris Scorup, my little brother who is up there for a little while longer. My parents, Judy and Pete Scorup, are in Palmer where we were raised.

My family now lives in Nebraska, but welcome to Alaska anyway! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did growing up there. Feel free to look up and call Kris, or my Mom and Dad. They'd love to meet you guys.
